Get into the festive season and make your own Christmas wreath, learn the skills how to make it from scratch. What you will learn from this course.  How to make the wire frame /base for your wreath.  How these skills could be transferred to making a swag – for your mantelpiece or stairs.  Learn about the different types of foliage for gathering sustainably. How to construct the actual parts for the wreath using florist wire and decorate for the festive period.

Introduction to Christmas wreath making – 2 hour workshop

Introduction to the history of wreath making and demonstrations throughout the stages of construction and to show how to wire cones and foliage and ribbons. Construction of the actual wreath and how to add the decorations for a seasonal touch. Using wire, paper and straw to create a sturdy base for your wreath

Join us at Samares Botanical Gardens for a fun creative workshop, creating your own Christmas wreath for your front door or as a gift for someone else.  We will supply everything you need but you can bring your own decorations if you prefer.
